Medication is also possible for this kind of disease and might vary from patient to patient in the administration of medication. Acetaminophen or steroids too can be recommended to some patients to treat the swelling caused by Osteoarthritis. Patients need to consult the doctor as to determine which form of medication will suit them.

Drinking water avoids dehydration. Pineapple rich in bromelain or it can be chewed in the tablet form helps to reduce inflammation.
